Photographer Captures 24 Hours In One Panoramic Photograph 04/23/12 4:35 pm
24 Hours Panoramic Photograph
His long exposure photo was taken with a Canon 550D DSLR camera. In the dazzling shot, star trails look like a modern interpretation of Van Gogh's 'Starry Night', while the glowing sunlit clouds recall something by Michelangelo's careful hand. The photographic masterpiece creates an almost spiritual vision of Greece's beauty, don't you think?

Normally these sharks are kind of hard to get close to – at least on normal terms. One can get a lot closer when feeding them – but that's one thing I don't get involved with; feeding them with bait or feeding them w...

I promised good detail to avoid a "what camera do I buy" question.
Here are the photos I have now:
http://www.flickr.com/raymondwald
Right now I have a D3100 with kit lens. The photos I take are mostly either nature/urban or bars/party candids with some street candids thrown in and some other oddities.
I get a lot of compliments on:
1) nature pics
2) people pics
This does not mean I believe I can go professional or make a living off of this!
I'm just saying what I am better at relativ...

Mark, you are doing an excellent job with this series. I worked as a technical trainer/illustrator/writer for 10 years and have been an avid amateur photographer for most my life. I love your videos, they help a lot. For those of us who dont have the studio and do a lot of outdoor shots of models do you have suggestions for using either one external flash or on camera flash for fill?
Please come to Pennsylvania. I live in the Allentown area but I can commute to the Philadelphia area. Please email me when you are in this area and I will sign up for your workshop. Thanks.
