Ok so I have a huge passion for photography. I love capturing moments as in parties, sports, or just moments. Also I like to take my creativity a little bit further and take some panoramic photos. I like to see professional and high resolution images. I think that every single angle is important so I want a camera that has all this that I can use when I go to a football game, or at my nephew's birthday party, or when I travel or just when I'm at home trying to capture a happy family moment. I don't want a camera that takes too long to turn on, or etc, etc. I don't care about the price BUT VERY IMPORTANT I want this camera to be as discrete as possible I really wouldn't like to be carrying a huge piece of brick over my neck. what do you recommend?

Recently, I bought a Canon 10.1 mp Digital Rebel and a wide angle lens. I just started taking up basic photography (and I mean total beginner) this past January. This camera was awesome. The only thing was there is no way I could possibly afford the up-keep of this camera. I am on a limited budget and I sold it; fortunately got most of my money back. The camera and one lens cost a total of $1300.00.
Now here's the deal. I was told that the Digital Rebel is one of the better camera's on the market. I did not know this when I was looking into it because some moron on yahoo answers said they don't make any camera's under the Digital Rebel that are any good; yet he/she failed to mention that this was like top of the line.
All I am looking for is something that is somewhat affordable ($100-350-ish) and has a good range (for zoom and panoramic pix for scenary). Something that could be used for a long time and preferably has the lens attached to it, or a smaller version lens that I could attach to it.
I heard Nikon is a good brand and I heard that Canon came out with some good lesser expensive cameras (like this one my gf's father has with some kind of a screen that pulls out from behind the camera –> not sure what it's called tho). You either use this screen for viewing the pics or taking them while looking through the external screen (I think is what he told me).
Anyways, I am kind of out on a limb here because I am going to Hawaii this summer (for my very first time) and I can't afford a camera yet. I don't exactly want to leave one of the last purely beautiful places on the planet w/o any pictures. I just need to know which kinds are good so I can shop around.
Any ideas? Got any links I can go to?
Thanks guys =P

Hi.
I have a Canon Rebel XTi. I'm fairly new to photography.
I cant afford a high-end fisheye lens at this moment. I found one on amazon for cheap. Im not sure if its compatible with my camera.
Can you help me out?
The lens is a Opteka .35x HD² Super Wide Angle Panoramic Macro Fisheye Lens
http://www.amazon.com/Opteka-Super-Angle-Panoramic-Fisheye/dp/B000TLVMIO/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1230705109&sr=8-3
And can you maybe tell me of any other cheap fisheyes my camera is compatible with?
Thanks. Do you know if that lens in the link i had is compatible?

I work for 3 realtors and we're looking to purchase a camera (no more than $350) that will take great pictures of both the outside & inside of homes to include the photos in our brochures and flyers about the house. Currently, we are using a pretty old kodak and the biggest problem we have is with the interior pictures — if it's a sunny day and we try to take photos of a room with a lot of light pouring in — the photos are usually really washed out. We also have an interest in doing virtual tours (I have a Nikon Coolpix and I know that it has the Panoramic assist mode that will show a bit of the previous photo you took so you can line up the photos.) I was looking at the Canon PowerShot A700, and also the Nikon P1, but i'm open to other suggestions — thanks in advance for your help!!
