Galilea is a small village in the south west part of Mallorca in the Puigpunyent area on the foothills of the tramuntana.The Immaculada Concepció Chuch is situated on the little square from where you can have a spectacular view over the Calvià coast. At he foot of of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains lies the peaceful little town of Calvia,which is surrounded by farmland and olive groves. The Parish Church of St. John the Baptist originally built in 1245, the present church was constructed in the 19th century.
The building has a chapel dedicated to San Sebastian,
Next to the church is the rectory with a small courtyard, which you see here.

Galilea is a small village in the southwest part of Mallorca set 500m high on the southern slopes of the Galatzó mountain, close to Puigpunyent
The center of the village contains traditional houses built around the Immaculada Concepció church. The village square, next to the church, has a bar restaurant, and is the main meeting place in the village
